WEEK 8- THE FINAL NIGHT

Our Final Night was help last Thurs Sept 3rd at Matignon High School.  We used the last evening as a night to catch-up, do some "new" group shooting drills that involved defenders and running the court.  Each drill was based on time....therefor, each player submitted different shots attempted totrals based on their own speed.
Factors which enhance shot attempts over time include: Accuracy, Speed of the shot/move, Rebounder capability, and the defenders positioning depending on the drill.
We shot for approximately 7o (subtracking 20 min.rest time)
We averaged 260 shots per player
We averaged 3.7 shots /minute
We averaged 1 shot/16.2 seconds

First Night "Observations"....WEEK 1 RECAP

NTL Shooters,
We had a great first night.  Slightly late start.  Got our shots in.  Some time to scrimmage.
The first night approach was to develop a baseline of Free Throws and basic uncontested shots.
The stats revealed many interseting "Observations" (OB'S):

OB #1:  Shooting 250 shots is very tiring.

OB #2:  Free Throws were broken down into quarters with the 3rd quarter yielding the highest % and the 2nd quarter yielding the lowest.

OB #3:  Group 50 shot free shooting came in at 48.3%

OB #4:  Players who shot the quickest at the free throw line had a higher percentage then those who had a long prep time.

OB #4:  Structure perimeter=38.5%, Free Perimeter=45.8%

OB #5:  There is a corelation between making consistent layup and being a good free throw shooter.

PLEASE READ THE STATS AN ADD ANY OBSERVATIONS YOU FIND, THESE WILL HELP THE GROUP!!!!!!!!!!
